What's the first thing you DID think of? Hmm?
It's the same with our anxiety symptoms. It's called a 'rebound effect.' When we are told to NOT think about something, it actually becomes more difficult to do so. It's not about suppressing our fears or feelings, but rather, moving through them and interacting elsewhere.....
Still thinking about pink elephants.....?
