First of all, please take a few big deep breaths....in and out, nice and slow.
I just want to share with you that I have had my BP go considerably higher than that. I know it's scary, believe me I do. I'm sharing with you so you know that you're not alone....
Between being anxious, situational anxiety (your dad's passing), being sick,...those are a lot of factors that play into your bp.
It's normal for our BP to fluctuate, sometimes pretty extensively, throughout the day. You are seeing a doctor, you are getting yourself checked out. Crying and anxiety can spike our BP (it's actually supposed to, there's a reason for it).
Make sure you f/u with your doc, and address your concerns. Practice your coping skills, now more than ever. And of course, post when you need to because we're here for you! :)
