Interesting, interesting! My omega 3 levels are practically non-existent because of a certain gene mutation. Found this all out through bloodwork. The doctor recommended me to take omega 3 supplements (fish oil, fish, flax seeds, chia seeds, etc..) Since then I have wondered if my inclination to depression and anxiety has anything to do with my super low omega 3. I mean I was SUPER SUPER SUPER LOW.
I don't like to take pills unless necessary so I have been drinking Horizon Organic Milk with DHA. It's a plant based DHA Omega 3, much like that with fish oil. Just a thought, but super interesting! I am going to keep on upping the Omega 3.
