Does anyone take Requip for restless leg or body? I have been taking it and it is helpful. I didn't take it last night because I am almost out and hoped I didn't need to refill the prescript
ion. I was so restless that I took it and it then took 3 hrs. to take effect. Does anyone know of a natural remedy for restless leg or body syndrome?

Have suffered restless for years...don't know how many nights I went with a couple hours sleep because my legs wouldn't settle....that is until I came across Magnesium Glycinate....my pharmacy makes it themselves and as long as I take it about
an hour before bed I don't get restless legs....amazed me!!

Cd,
Make sure you are using magnesium citrite or glycinate. most people use magnesium oxide and that tends to have a laxative effect on most. Also, with the oxide, only like 10% of it is absorbed in the body, which is not enough to help with any condition.

I had bowel issues as well with plain magnesium. I added calcium with my vitamins and no more issues.

I have tried magnesium citrate with laxative results. I will look for the other two kinds. Thanks so much.

Take a dose at night with calcium and it should make you feel nice and drowsy.

A doctor suggested real tonic water with quinine for restlessness. I am going to try it tonight and I will let you know if it works.
