You're anxious about
making appointments or is this regarding past appointments?
Write down what you need to say and read from it perhaps. Gather your thoughts prior to calling.

Cilly,
I understand, and often procrastinate about
things that I simply don't want to do...or things that make me uncomfortable.
Set aside a time when you feel most at ease, use your coping skills beforehand to feel relaxed and confident...and just go for it.
I am sure you'll find that once you make the first call, it will get eaiser and you will be done before you know it.
Reward yourself with a little something you enjoy afterward for getting the job done.;)
You can do it!

I tend to speak really fast and try to jam in too much information, more than is necessary.
I like the idea of creating a script
to read from and stick to that. Remember, the person taking the call only needs the bare info....the more we ramble on, the harder the phone call becomes!
(I know from experience!) :)
