What is your favorite animal and why??

Mine as a kid use to be monkeys. They were just so cute, I use to read about all different kinds like: Apes and chimpanzees.

Now as an Adult my attention is more towards dogs, (Pitbulls mostly).
Maybe because I'm going to school to become a Vet-Tech but mainly because my 1yr old PitBull MissyBlue passed away a couple of months back and ever since then I've been trying to fill this missing void I have for her. She ment soo much to me, even though I have a husband and three children.... My Missy was my supporter. She never judged, she Always listened, and she loved on me just at the right moments. Some people have a lot of misconceptions about pit bulls..but its all about how you raise them. This past weekend for my birthday my husband, our children and I attended an orientation at an animal shelter to become regular volunteers... Fresno Bully Rescue.
I swear guys all my "happy feelings" just started flowing back that morning, even though I was dreading it all last week because I wasn't sure how my anxiety was going to be around a lot of new faces (over 60 to 70 people showed up that morning for orientation to become volunteers) I accomplished it with my families support and now I can go help out at the shelter when ever I feel really down and out...

Ok was that a big enough distraction for you😁!!?!!

I can't think of an animal I don't adore!

I'm more of an animal person than a people person anyway. All my animals (from my horses, and dogs to cats and birds) have all, always been rescues. I've also volunteered at the SPCA.

There are many organizations in need of big-hearted people like you! Good for you! :)

Just this morning I emailed a dog rescue organization to see if I can do some volunteering. All this anxiety lately....it's about time, now that I'm retired, to do something I actually LOVE to do...work with animals. It's so funny that you should mention the same thing. And I love pit bulls too. Actually I love ALL dogs, and even cats but dogs are my favorite. I two dogs myself and they are the most loyal, loving, supportive guys I've ever known. I can't imagine ever living without a dog. A dog is the friend you wish you always had.

I am not an animal lover before but when I met my husband, he opened my heart to animals especially dogs. Now we have a 2 years old Siberian husky. He so smart and lots of energy. He is my medicine. I love him so muchhh..Planning to get another or adopt one. But I want a small dog though hehe...

Oh yes, forgot about the neighbours! We have a chipmunk residing under our back porch. We have otters in the front yard. And there's an ongoing,...uhm,...territorial dispute in our back yard between some turkeys and a few coyotes!

Got a few rabbits we see traipsing across the front yard....and deer. Even a moose! :)

BiK huskys are nice dogs. I never really was a dog person either, Missy was my very first dog. As a child I went through a lot of cats. (whoever said "cats have 9 lifes" lied! Lol!!) but dogs are truly a man/womans=) best friend!

CORNELL Rats terrify the living be-gee-beez out of me!!!! Last winter a field mouse (very tiny BUT STILL SCARY!) ran across my foot and under my refrigerator!!!! I screamed my lungs out... For about four months I would not walk into my kitchen without my pair of boots on, I would leave my boots close by all the time. Oh man ! And don't get me started on this family of roof rats living in the palm trees in my backyard!!!! Ahhhhh super scary !!!!
