Thanks Circus Dog! New York is my favorite city. My Uncle lived in the West Village and I had the chance to visit him a few times before he passed. Those visits happened during the pre-anxiety days for me, and I felt completely invincible at that point of my life. Well...until I walked down the wrong street near Times Square.. Didn't feel so invincible then. :/ Love that city though.
Right now in the city I live in there has been a few too many murders this year, like 114 I think. I am sure it is mostly gang related, but there is other crazy stuff happening as well. Like the riots & protests going on for the time being too. I did a few of those walking tricks without even realizing it would be helpful. I walked IN the road, unless a car was coming. I also wore a baggy hoodie. My problem is, I don't think that I could outrun anyone trying to get me if my heart rate gets up so high after a 3 minute jog. Hmph.
But I am going to keep on those tricks if I can't find walking time in the day. :)
