Anyone taking Cymbalta and Topamax?

Is anyone else talking Cymbalta and Topamax?  I just recently started taking this combo of meds, while at the same time backing off Ativan.  My original pdoc had me taking 1MG of Ativan 3x/day and my new pdoc was not a fan of that and has my slowly backing off the Ativan.  So far, so good.

I recently started the same combo of meds... cymbalta/topamax. I feel like overall it has been working pretty well. I've been on both for just about 4 weeks now. Some side effects I'm noticing are pins and needles in the limbs and face, dry mouth, some blurred vision, some irritability, but that's about it.

My anxiety and panic which have been a life long struggle and at times crippling...seems to be doing okay right now. I've never had much success with other meds like Lexapro and while Benzos like Xanax can work to help quell a panic attack, it's not a sustainable long term solution.

I'll be curious to hear your progress on the meds. There isn't much information out there on the use of topamax in conjunction with something like cymbalta to help treat anxiety/panic. Best of luck!
