Kinda gross but...

Ok so not this past weekend but the weekend before I was at Disneyland. I walked around for 12 hours wearing converse. Not the most comfortable shoes. By the end of the night my feet hurt so bad. Even my big toenails were throbbing. The right one hurt way more. I got home and they still hurt but looked normal. Last week the one that hurt worse started turning purple. Not super dark, but a lovely shade of lavender. The other one didn't hurt as bad but it has a darker purple spot coming from bottom corner going up. Covers maybe a 1/4 of the big toe nail. Today the lighter colored one is a littke darker now. Still hurts but not as bad. Anyone else have this happen from bad fitting shoes? It's freaking me out.

Does it go away? Am I gonna lose a toe? What's happening?! Lol

I can't look at my poor toes. I had to paint over them.

Oh lord my feet still ache thinking about walking around Disneyland lol! My husband had this happen to him when we were teenagers and he was in football and another time when something happened to his foot at work. His big toenail fell off once which totally grossed me out but he wasn't in pain then.

Sorry this happened to you. I had to smile when you asked if you were going to lose a toe because I would've been asking the same thing!

I got stung on my 2nd toe by a stingray in Florida about 12 years ago. Can you believe I did not have anxiety?! It hurt like heck and about 6 weeks later I lost my toenail. No biggie, it grew back.

Likely you bruised them and it will just take time to grow out. If you would lose them, absolutely no big deal but I'm almost 100% certain you won't lose them

If only my fear was losing a toenail, i'd be the happiest girl in the world LOL.
