Just so you know, what you're going through- the anxiety, depersonalization, derealization, etc, is NOT a weakness on your part. It is a reaction to the anxiety/life events.

As for your faith, have you considered finding a church near you in the city and trying it out? There is usually someone there during the weekdays too that I'm sure would be very interested & willing to talk to you!! It can't hurt to try.

I want to recommend a book to everyone, one that I recently ordered online and find it more helpful than any self help book I've read. It's called "At Last A Life" by Paul David. He struggled with anxiety for 10 years and has since recovered then wrote this book about what he's learned. He's helped a lot of people and now it's helping me. He has a website and blog www.anxietynomore.co.uk and you can even download the first 4 chapters on the ibooks app. It's the best book investment I've made thus far! You can read the reviews on Amazon if you don't believe me.
