Hello all!
Here is an update....
Starting on Tuesday I had my anxiety set off by my nine year old saying that he felt like he was going to "be sick". I had my first anxiety attack in over a year. I was so upset that I did not want to be around my son. I pulled myself together enough to sleep a bit, but the next day my body was shaking and my stomach was so sick I did not eat at all. Wednesday I was worse! I decided that night that I was not going to give in to my anxiety. So I started to do things that I was becoming anxious about
, on Thursday things were better but not 100% and I still was so tired and my stomach and heartburn were so bad still, I only ate 1 thing since Tuesday. Friday I woke up and I have been normal ever since. My sleep and cbt have been my saving grace. I have eaten so much and although my heartburn is bad at the moment, I am not anxious about
it more bothered than anything. I am so happy. I know to stay off of "dr. Google" but I do research anxiety and cbt training and the more I learned and remembered the better I felt. So this is my update for now. I have decided that doing my best us enough for god and I, then it is all good. I know it is hard for folks but there is a light at the end and you can reach the light. Train yourself and seek help it is always worth it. Just wanted to let you all know how I am doing. Good night guys.

Hi Jessica
Sorry to hear that you had some high anxiety at the start of the week but was pleased to read that you were able to use your CBT skills to calm yourself back down again that is great news. You are right doing your best is all you can do and i'm sure as you continue to use your CBT skills you will see continued progress so keep up the good work.

Awesome job JD!!
Way to turn it around!!
It reminds me of a.game of tag or chase...
...do you remember running from someone in pursuit of you, and just suddenly stopping and turning the tables on them? Simply becoming the chaser?!?
You did just that by standing your ground and by refusing to let the anxiety run the show.:)
Keep it up!!

Best day ever Tuesday. I got the best news that I really needed. A major bill of mine is not only current but also paid in full and I have a credit on the bill! I cried and thanked the gut on the phone. Such an amazing bit of news! My body had so much weight lifted off from me today. Fell asleep too early so now I am asleep and then awake, poo! I think that my body was just so worked up that now it is over wired to be that way so relaxing is hard for it to do, I am so mean to my poor body. Wanted to share this with my friends. I am a much happier girl.

If I could make those small little happy faces bounce up and down, I would! But I can't :(
So I'll leave the "Happy Dance" up to Scaredycat!
But I will give you a "high five" and an "at-a-girl"!
Also, how about
a "celebratory honk" from the anxiety train?!?! Here it is...
"Hoooooooonnnnkkkk"!
Glad you had a good day!

Great news!!! If feels great to have a weight lifted, right? Enjoy this, and your empowerment as you continue to put the anxiety in its place....far away from being able to bother you today! Great job on using those skills and positive mindset!
