Useless?

Hey all,
I noticed tonight when I was catching up on the forum and responding, that I kind of feel useless. I feel out of place a bit, because I never seem to know what to say. Everyone seems to give such good advice and I just lend an ear. I just feel like I don't know how to help myself sometimes and don't want to steer someone wrong. So I am sorry that I don't respond with a lot of answers to fix things. I do however like to be supportive if I can. This forum means a lot to me and helped me out of a bad spot. That's what I try to do and again sorry if I do more chattering than helping.

here for you guys. there are times i feel the same, totally inept actually!! geez, i send out a bucket load of healing thoughts-i do send them though!!! hey, half the time i wing it!!! keep well. we xare about you. and you all.

Being a good listener and just providing understanding is actually MORE important than giving out advice IMO.

As a moderator, it is part of my job to make helpful suggestions, steer people towards finding help and resources, ect...

...but sometimes, I have to step back from that and I realize that what some people at some points in their journey need is just a compassionate note that tells them. "I get it!" or "it is going to be alright."

Those of you who encourage each other are the heart and soul of this forum...

...don't stop doing what you are doing, or doubt your input here for a second!!

Paddicake, you're not useless! I'm positive you've commented on my posts and been thoughtful in your responses, which is all I could ever ask for. We're all just throwing out suggestions and things that have worked for us, or even just letting others know we're thinking of them. You're awesome and I'm glad you're here.

wasnt looking for compliments, honestly that wasnt my intention. But thank you for them just the same...I just wanted everyone to know that I try to be helpful, just felt useless in helping anybody out. I for sure will listen and be there for anyone. I do agree that is how I have gotten through many rough spots by you all on here just understanding..
