Kitt did hold on until her son John made it by her side.


"It is with a heavy heart that I am writing to tell you mom just passed away at 7:30 pm 11/11/14."

The A/P has lost a great treasure today...but her spirit lives on here forever.

Deeply saddened. :( Yet joyed to think she waited for her son. <3


My little tribute to such a wonderful lady.

As fragrant field of flowers,
As lovely as the dawn,
Beauty has it's time,
So sad to think she's gone,

Everlasting memories,
No one can take away,
We once walked that field,
A smile led the way,

But I shall not say goodbye,
So please don't even mention.

My Dear Kitt, A True Gem of a friend,
She was always encouraging to me and even in her darkest hours, she was worrying about encouraging everyone else. She was a courageous lady and I am so glad that I had the privilege of knowing her! I will miss her and her loving ways, but am assured and comforted by the words of
John 5:28, 29.
Love to all her family and my deepest symapthy and sincerest condolences.
I think I will go cry now though.

Kitt: Your love was and is felt even though you are gone. You laughter will forever live on. The world lost a diamond so pure and so true. My dearest Kitt there will never be another like you.

S.C- I am so sorry for this loss. My heart hurts as so many have gone from this life. Please stay strong.

Kitts wise words and warm heart will always be remembered. You could tell through her writings that she was so compassionate about helping others. How very lucky we were to have her.

To Kitt:

You were such a inspiration to all of us. You always took the time out to make us feel better, even when you felt so bad yourself. You'll live on in the hearts of everyone who loved you. I hope you climbed onto your Harley and rode out in style.

Tonight, when you look up, don't think of them as stars. Think of them as porch lights, welcoming your loved one safely home.

I have so much to write...

I will have to break it up into short segments and make several posts over time.

The first thing I would like to say is that Kitt was an amazing mentor.

When I was first starting out as a moderator here, I did not know what I was doing. Often, I didn't know how to handle a situation or answer someone. ..and the phrase that would run In a loop through my head was "What would Kitt do?"

I mean this in all seriousness...I wasn't even thinking about the whole WWJD (WWKD) thing!!

I simply wanted to do things as she would...because she always did everything with such wisdom and caring.

I still find myself thinking WWKD...and will continue to for a lifetime.:)

She did a fine job with you, Scaredy.

While I'm not sure she and I conversed, I can tell how much she meant to so many. I'm saddened for your loss.

So sorry for the loss of an amazing person. It is so hard to find the right words to say at a time like this. I only know she has helped so many people on here and I'm sure in her own life as well.

What do you say?
When someone you love
Has been taken away?

Remember the good
Forget the bad.
Share the memories
Of the life you had.

Shed no tears
As god would say.

I am deeply saddened by this loss.

I would like to express my deepest condolences to Kitt's family.

I regret that I was not able to visit this forum more often and converse with her when she was well.

She will be very missed. She was a kind, caring, compassionate strong woman with a great sense of humor.

As a wonderful mother, wife and amazing nurse, she lived her life to the fullest. 

She is now free from all pain and anxiety and on her worldwide Harley motorbike tour.

My condolences to Kitt's family. I wasn't on the A&P forum that often but the times I was, Kitt was always there with compassion and support. She always had good advice. What a wonderful person she was. She will be greatly missed on this forum and will forever be remembered in love. RIP DEAREST KITT!

I am deeply saddened to hear this news Kitt was a wonderful lady and had time for everyone and helped so many people here on HW.

When I first joined HW I was in a bad place and I can remember I really used to look forward to Kitt replying to my posts as she was always so wise and encouraging and her words really did help me through she also had a great sense of humour and could make people laugh.

When I became a moderator she was very supportive and was always there if I needed any advice on things I will miss her greatly and would like to send my condolences to her family.

So very sorry for the loss of our dear Kitt - and deep condolences to her family. If we miss her so much, just imagine what her family must be going through. This brings to mind a song called "Gone too Soon" by Michael Jackson. You may have heard it but listen again...it's very appropriate for a wonderful person we all depended on for wisdom and guidance.

Her Journeys Just Begun

Don't think of her as gone away, Kitts journeys just begun.
Life holds so many facets, this earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days or years.
Think of how she must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but the sadness can ever really pass away.
Think of her as dearly in the hearts of those she touched
For nothing loved is ever lost -- She was loved so much....


My heartfelt sympathy to Mary's family and many friends and may you find peace and comfort in each other this day.

She will be missed by many and what a legacy to leave behind you, it speaks loudly of the life you lived. Rip Mary!

I never had a chance to talk to her but I know she was a fantastic person.

During what was the worst time in my life and what I imagine was also one of the worst in hers, because this was so recent, Kitt made it on here and commented on my post and her words were strong and wise even when she must've been feeling exhausted and confused by why things were going on in her own life. It meant a lot to me know that while she was battling with her own situation, she saw how much I needed her words and she shared then with me. That was my one interaction with her and it was a meaningful one and one that will not be forgotten.

Kitt, you will be missed by so many, but I find peace in knowing that your struggles are over. Your pain is gone. Your mind and heart are once again free. Your smiles will be endless and joy will fill you once again. Death is so hard for the living and we will all miss you so much, but I'm happy to know that a woman who gave so much of herself is now able to enjoy her eternity.

Kitt always knew the right words to say when I needed it. She was a true inspiration to me.

Kitt was also my mentor. She always knew what to say and made everyone feel welcome. I always enjoyed her jokes.

She embodied the spirit of Healing Well. I will miss her deeply.

You are at peace now, enjoy paradise my friend.

Kitt and I started here about the same time. It was the same year... We worked side by side for a long time... She was always so helpful and always had a kind word...

I will never forget you my dear sweet Kitt...

I had the pleasure of conversing with her via email a few times. It always amazed me that she could offer such comfort to others and know just the right thing to say when she herself was going through such a horrendous battle. She fought so hard and for so much longer than I would have ever had the strength to do.

Kitt was loved by many and while I am deeply saddened, I am also happy because I know she isn't in pain any longer and her many words of wisdom live on.
