I'm 51 and have an extensive history of migraines. While *most* of the time, I can pretty much predict and/or anticipate the symptoms, there's always one of those oddball events that are just a little different.
I get some similar symptoms (and not all at the same time, mind you, it varies). I always found the speech thing to be a doozy. My Husband says that sometimes I sound drunk. But truth is, it hurts like a bugger to talk (too much head pain) so I try to conserve my verbal output. That in itself can be distorting.
If you're not getting relief through your regular methods, you may want to try Urgent Care, perhaps check in with your doctor on Monday and explain your symptoms haven't subsided?? Just a few thoughts.
My PMD (I'm a CP patient, so I have a Pain Management Doc), has told me that she has some patients who have migraines which can last for DAYS! Wowza! Sure put mine into perspective.
Let us know how you're coming along, okay? :)
