I think what you're experiencing is normal, you have an anxiety condition and as a result you will produce anxious thoughts and then feelings to go along with them. An anxious brain will always produce anxious thoughts, because what else can it do? Its to be expected, don't let these symptoms concern you.
And the truth is actually, most people are a bit on edge before they take a trip - especially if it is to something unpleasant like a funeral. There is a lot to think about, and you just have a little bit extra on top of that. What we imagine (especially those of us who have experienced an anxious mind) is almost never how things actually pan out, so chances are you will be absolutely fine (within reason owing to the nature of the visit).
Perhaps you could try to plan a head a little bit with regards to food? I don't know your circumstances so I don't want to assume, but is there a chance that you would be able to get some soup or something similar? I'm sure your sister will have some suggestions to help put your mind at ease :)
