Someone Keep Me Off Of Google

As much as I try to convince myself to stay away from Google, something will pop up on my computer about "5 ways to cure ______ (insert deadly disease there)". Anyway, I came across SUDEP. Sudden unexpected death in Epilepsy. I don't have epilepsy. But, I had a friend, an all star American athlete (who supposedly didn't have epilepsy either), pass away suddenly and unexpectedly almost two years ago from what they suspect to be SUDEP. And it's inconclusive because autopsies post mortem don't let you know if it was SUDEP.
So anyway, this is my new reason to freak out.

I will happily look up anything for anyone needing information on a specific symptom that they are wondering about...

I can sort through all of the scary stuff...and just report the facts so to speak. ;)

I know what a pitfall this can be for those stuggling with health anxiety. I was just thinking about it today as I was looking up information about hypnic jerks while falling asleep. I have been having a lot lately...and low and behold...I found they can be completely benign...or a possibility of several other horrors that I won't mention.  (triggers)

After much therapy/self-help/ life experience I can completely believe that mine are benign and stress related...but a few years ago? Oh boy! I would have been panicking for sure after reading this!

Yeah...just say NO to Dr. Google, he's a quack! ;p
