God, this person is driving me crazy. That heartbeat thumping.
From across my wall. Even in passing cars. Man I hate it.
It is starting to really wear on my nerves. anyone out there feel the same. Thanks

Yes, we used a soundtrack of a similar noise in our haunted house for years. The actors didn't want to go in there.
You are not alone. Can you use a white noise machine or fan to drown out the exterior noises?
Good luck

Pvct,
OMGsh YES!!
A couple of years ago, we had some roadwork done near our cul-de-sac. It involved a lot of asphalt break up...so there were power tools on steriods out there!
They made a constant loud, but low sound, as well as vibrating that I could 'feel-hear' in my house.
I wasn't even really consciously aware why my anxiety was suddenly so high, until it dawned on me that the sounds and vibrations were making me so on edge!
I literally had to find places to go on the days when it went on for hours (this was a huge project that took weeks) just to espape it!
So yeah, it get it!
The white noise suggestion is a good one! I put on loud music when I had days that I had to be home with the roadwork.
Also, do you have, or can you get noise cancelling headphones if this continues to be a problem?
With understanding!
S.C.
