so here it is past 3 am yet again and I am so tired but can't sleep.
I can't tell if anxiety causes not being able to sleep, or not being able to sleep anxiety.
If anyones up Feel free to respond.
I try music, meditation, oils(sometimes that works), dark rooms, no caffeine, turning off tv's etc...but I just can't sleep at night. I usually crash around 6 am-12 and then I get my days and nights mixed up, but even if I stay awake 48+ hours the cycle isn't broken.
No sleeping just makes everything worse. I am trying to heal from surgery, deal with depression, med changes, dr changes, christmas, loneliness, and being awake just gives you LOTS of undistracted time to THINK and THINK some more....
I wish there was an "I'm awake want to chat" feature....
Sometimes i am me (HT)...

Have you talked to your Doctor about
getting some help in the form of meds?

AM,
I am so sorry to hear of your insomnia troubles. I don't ususally have problems sleeping...but when I have, it is really miserable, so I am sending my sympathies your way!
I can't remember if I ever suggested Binaural Beats (soundwave therapy) to you? If you are interested, I can post some links.
Best wishes for getting the rest that you need.

Hi Ang,
It sounds like your insomnia is really bad!! Mine is pretty terrible too, so I can relate! I've found that a white noise machine is helping me. I also use DoTerra essential oils. I'll be honest though, I could never sleep without my ambien. Do you take anything for sleep?
