Sad

My elderly cat went missing on Saturday morning,so earlier today I reported her missing on the RSPCA website!
Got a phone call today saying a cat had been found a few streets away from where I live and she matched the discription of my cat!
Turns out she had collapsed in someone's garden and they rushed her to the vets but she was in a bad way and had to be put to sleep last night!
I'm absolutely gutted!
I've had her since I was 18 yrs old, I'm 34 now.
I've got to identify her tomorrow just to make sure but we are 99.9%positive it is her!
I can't believe losing animals makes you feel so bad, I'm just glad someone was kind enough to take her to the vets!
I can't thank them enough. Otherwise I may never have known what had happened to her! :-(

This is so sad....

My current kitty kat is 10... the one before that made it to 15. Darn vet didn't charge me anything for putting her down... I wanted the vet bill to be painfully high so I wouldn't feel so bad for pulling the plug...

Spice Bomb, I am so sorry to hear that really :( It will be very hard for you but I guess you have to do it. We will be thinking about your and sending positive thoughts. Stay strong!
I am glad someone at least took your kitty to the vet.

My mom's cat (I brought her home when I was 17) died when she was 22. We were expecting it because she was extremely old but one can NEVER be ready for it. It made us so sad, also because she died one day before my dad. They were sort of in love with each other :(
