Citrus fruits tend to make your stomach acid a bit aggravated and can cause reflux but yeah it has lots of health benefits.
I recommend you squeezing half lemon juice in a lukewarm glass water, then drink it first thing in morning.
If you prefer drinking plain lemon juice then I recommend doing it with full stomach.
For example I am very sensitive with lemon juice, so I add it inside water then drink it. :)
Don't freak out, it's most likely your stomach is reacting to lemon then. My mom can't even drink it with water added, she just starts having cramps.
