Dental work tomorrow - nervous already sheesh

question to anyone in the dental field or has experience.

lidocaine w epi has made my heart race in the past although my dentist says it is because i am nervous more likely;
so he has used carbocaine i think the last few appts (or so he says) and last time i still felt super anxious - felt heart racing afterwards for hours. never had a problem until a few years ago. not sure if he did a shot into my blood vessel and made it worse and now i have anxiety when i go in or what but i'm sick of this anticipatory anxiety.
i was just going to take a klonopin but read that it could react with the caine meds. he said he could give me a valium but i have to have a driver. i don't have one. i know i have taken 1/2 a klonopin before but it didn't do anything to help really. my adrenaline must be crazy. and now they just started using a bp cuff (did last time i had a cleaning) so i'm sure that won't help. knowing what my pulse is actually. haha

we will be fine. :PP yeah i'm taking something too but not when i get there. 30-45 minutes beforehand. i think xanax works quicker though. i have klonopin.
