paxil? need some advice

Does anyone take Paxil for their anxiety? that's what I am taking, but I wake up with anxiety and have to take a calming pill. I feel like I am not getting better. I see that alot of you take Lexapro.

Hi

I used to take Paxil and found it to be a good medication but we are all different when it comes to antidepressants and what works well for one person may not work for an other. How long have you been taking the Paxil? It can take upto 8 weeks to feel the full benefits of the medication it is also a good idea to do some talking therapy such as CBT alongside medication as it is the two combined which get the best results.

Thank you hibee. I think it was the middle of December. I just feel so desperate. I have to klonapin to calm down. I am also taking a form of lyric (pan gamblatin or something) at night which calms the nerves, but I feel so desperate.
