weird palpitations?

So I'm just laying here and it feels almost like a muscle twitch but I know it's my heart cause I check my pulse while it's happening.
It palpilates on the right side of my lower sternum sometimes. The only way I can describe it is I have my regular heart and then a smaller second heart beating in a different area of my chest, and when one beats the other will stop. Haha, I can't explain this. It also happens on my left side and below my sternum. It's just there's nothing like this on the internet anywhere.

Heart palpitations....always so tricky to figure out and/or accept. I have a similar situation, but it actually is a muscle spasm that occurs in my case. I get frequent muscle spasms/twitches and sometimes they are in the "heart" area. It's definitely gets me wondering when it happens.....

I'm assuming that you've been checked to rule out any health issues?

How were you able to determine they were in fact muscle twitches? I'm not completely convinced it's my heart, but it sure seems like it.

I have had RBBB, but that went away, and i forgot the name of the second thing they said it was instead of RBBB. However I'm not lucky enough to be cleared with a "normal" ecg.

I haven't ruled out Lyme disease, but I doubt it most days despite many symptoms.

Hi BDL,

As long as you are not at risk from your previous dx of Right Bundle Branch Block...then you can safely assume these pvc's are benign in nature, and use self-treatment. (see our Resources for self-help for pvc links.)

Also, have you considered that what you're feeling may actually be gastro related? I have had what I thought for sure were pvc's, that actually turned out to be gas bubbles in my stomach. The position of where you describe these feelings originating makes me suspect this. Something to consider?
