Oh gosh, I thought I was the only one who walked into stationary objects. 20 years in the same home and I walk into doors, walls, yes even the cabinetry. That's just the nonmoving objects. I don't even want to discuss the ones I can move with just my little toe (couch, recliner, dog, coffee table, etc) and a lot of language.
I am sure you will be fine. You seem to be a very determined woman (read as hard headed?) so this little bump shouldn't stop you.
Just be careful of the other appliances, they like attention too...
