You may be able to manage your BP with a combination of exercise, healthy diet and anxiety management coping skills such as breathing, meditation and progressive muscle relaxation exercises practiced daily.
If it does come to a point that you need an Rx...there are many options, and you and your doctor can work to find the one that works for you, without the undesired effects.
For now, keep up with what you are doing, and add in any of the suggestion I mentioned above if you are not already doing so.:)
