CBT appt- don't like the place

I'm waiting for my first CBT appt and I don't like the feel of the place. It is super busy and seems like they are cranking people in and out of here. I'll see how I like the therapist, but so far not so good.

I hope everything went well Gigi. My therapists office is really busy too, but I'm sure it's because like 20 therapist work there. If you're not comfy with who you are seeing, don't be discouraged. One size does not fit all:)

M is right! Sometimes you have to search to find the right one. I'm about to try another one too, but I'm keeping my current one until I find someone I like better. Let us know how it goes!

She was really great. I don't know how her approach will be long term, but I really like her, was very comfortable with her and will definitely give it a few more sessions.

Glad you liked her, my psychs waiting room is packed too. I am in the process of changing practices. I like my therapist but do not vibe well with my psych. He's a nice guy but he wants to take me of meds, each time we try I start to have panic attacks again. It's crazy or maybe I am.

I'm glad you had good luck with the therapist. My current one has a negative waiting room too. First time there I thought, no way but inside her room all is great.

It took me 3 other therapists before I found the one I connected with (and my insurance pays for)
