First, I'd like to say hello and that I came across this website while looking for anxiety symptoms.
Here's an example of my problem - (I've always been this way, even as an adolescent - I'm 44 now)
As an example:
While on the web for a couple of hours trying to find info on mapping out travel routes and going over details of various destinations, all of a sudden I'll start having a faster heart rate (seems to be heavier beats, also), then sort of a shortness of breath, and feel I have to go urinate.
I sit for a second and take several deep breaths then get up and walk around a bit to clear my head, and go urinate - It's like this every time it happens
I can sit back down to continue the task but, in the next hour or so, it happens the exact same way.
That's just one example, but I've noticed it happens even when I'm just trying to figure out something simple - and there is no outside pressure to do it (ie - no time restraints/deadlines, no one waiting/relying on me)
Maybe it's self induced by me wanting to hurry up and finish a task, or nervousness, or maybe it's me trying to do something faster than my mental capacity allows... I don't know. I do know my body feels like it just wants to shut down - and several times I've just stopped and jumped on the sofa or bed and fell asleep like a baby.
Anyone have any thoughts.
Thanks in advance.
