So I upped my dose from 15mg to 20mg 6 days ago. And I feel different . I have weird mild waves of anxiety and zone out / off. I feel awkward and different than my normal anxiety from last 11 weeks on the meds. I was on 15 mg for 2 weeks. And on 10 mg for almost 8 weeks. 5 mg for 10-14 days. So is this just a type of start up/ increase anxiety? Is this normal feeling when you hit your therapudic dose? How long till mind adjust to new dose?

Well actually, I must say the things you are feeling is more like anxiety but I really don't think it's related to the dose. I hope you don't misunderstand what I am saying, I don't mean that it's in your head or anything :)
You would feel difference of course but maybe because you think that a dose change will make you feel bad and you are anxious about
it?
When I increased from 25 to 50 after one week, I didn't feel anything. Now after 4 months, I plan to increase to 100mg in one go. I will talk to my dr because I don't think 50 is enough anymore. I am pretty sure it won't make any change for me.
After 11 weeks, you should totally be adapted to the SSRI, since after 1-2 months SSRIs show their benefits of healing. I am 100% sure that medicine is not going to make any more difference.
Hope you feel better soon :) Keep us updated

im confused about
your 100% comment. Can you explain. And also you disagree with start up/ dosage increase .. Anxiety? I heard that every time you increase you can experience a little anxiety .

Hmm, I meant I am 100% sure that it is because you are anxious about
increasing dose so your body is reacting.
and as far as I know (from my experience with SSRI and some other people) once your body get used to the dominant substance in the SSRI medicine you are taking, which is only first 1-2 weeks then it won't effect your body anymore. At least it happened to me and my friends like that.
First 2 weeks I felt really increased anxiety as side effect and it is very common with SSRI medication. Then after 2 weeks I didn't feel anything actually after 1 months I started feeling the benefits of the medication and my anxiety decreased.
I don't think that thing you heard is correct but this is my opinion.
I recommend you as a fellow SSRI user, try not to focus on the effects of the medicine too much :) The benefits you will get from it is worth anything. You can trust that. I know it is very hard, I fought to the last drop of my blood for not beginning the meds but now I say, why I waited that long? ... lol
PS: discuss it with your dr, best thing to do :) Since we are not educated in this field xD I hope you will feel more comfortable about
your meds

Hi
Yes when increasing or decreasing your medication it is normal to experience more anxiety to begin with until you have adjusted to the new dose which can take anywhere between a couple of days to a couple of weeks. If your symptoms don't get better after a couple of weeks I would go back to your doctor but it sounds like it is working for you if you have noticed a decrease in your anxiety which is good news .

Two different experiences and opinions here...
...and neither is wrong! It depends on the individual!
I have heard that some people have increased s/e's upon each uppage, and yet Rrakkma did not find this to be true for her...
So it really is an individualized experience.
Use your coping skills to get you through this last increase...you are almost there! :)
Sending thoughts of encouragement and quick relief!
