tongue been hot and muggy. it thundered and the skies opened. it came down hard. i went out in my thongs and shorts on, no shirt and enjoyed the drenching as the rain was so cool and refreshing. just for a bit i was one with nature.

That sounds awesome turtle. The only precipitation I'm getting here is in the form of snow. Not quite as loud as a good thunderstorm.

cheers. last check mum is stabilizing and she will be kicked out soon. she finally told the boys not to visit, go mum, about bloody time!!! sis is going down to sort out boys support services. she has bared me from attending.

larry, got to do it. washed a lot of stress away.

Awesome!! Sounds like my favorite kind of weather! I love it warm...but also love a good thunderstorm...if it is tropical.

Our rain here tends to be only during our colder months, so I will live vicariously through your post! :) Sounds really wonderful...and glad you got to enjoy!

Continued thoughts going out to your family.:) Keep on keeping on in all that you do to take care of eachother...it's a beautiful thing! :)

Great news about Mom! So glad that you have a team of siblings working for Mom's best interest. You have done a good thing. I am so proud of your dedication. I hope my kids are that kind to me. Good job!

Side note; I read your description of the weather. Standing in the rain, what a lovely thought. I will admit that I was jealous for a moment...then I had to stop and re-read your words. Thongs are not shoes here in the US. That changed the picture for me momentarily, until I could translate.
