Hey everyone, just a quick question.
I've been pretty much fine for weeks now.. no panic, very minimal anxiety, literally feeling normal. But, on Sunday night I started to feel really strange. I threw up a lot and every time I closed my eyes the room was spinning. Then I got really hot to the point I was sweating and my whole body was twitching...
Never felt like that before. I did go out on Saturday night and have a few drinks and may have hit my head, so I'm wondering if it might be a sign of concussion? Or has anyone else felt like this and it's just anxiety related?
I'm completely fine now by the way! Was still very sick on Monday morning but felt better by the evening!
Just curious to see the replies so I know what it is if it happens again :)

Sounds like a hangover to me. Hangovers used to cause my anxiety to be 100 times worst. It's the reason I don't touch any alcohol now.

CT,
Could have been a lot of things...
Is your head sore? Any lumps to make you think you may have hit your head?
If your pupils are matched and of normal size...you are no longer nauseous, dizzy or overly fatigued, then you are likely fine.
I think you may have had a short lived stomach bug or food poisioning perhaps...
...or too much to drink on an empty stomach?
Glad you are feeling better now in any case...
...and happy to hear that things in general are well for you!! :)
Keep up the good work in your recovery, and keep us posted when you can.

If i drink it definitely increases my anxiety the next day. But I definitely would not rule out a concussion.

Yep, hangovers will do that and if you have anxiety it gets really bad. I hate drinking alcohol, cause I know the next day is going to be hell. When I do drink it's a little bit, good to hear your better

Thanks for all the replies..
The only reason I ruled out a hangover is because recently I've found my anxiety is nowhere near as bad as it used to be when I drink..
Do have a big bump on the back of my head S.C, still a bit sore now! Just never had a concussion before so thought it might have been that.. But it is definitely gone now whatever it was :)
The thing that freaked me out the most was the room spinning when I closed my eyes, never had that the day after drinking and it scared me because the only way I could make it stop was to
open my eyes and focus on something.
Just hope it never happens again! :)
