Aw R, :(
I am so sorry to hear that you had such short lived relief. You know...I have had similar experiences? Even with GOOD news! Any emotional highs can bring on similar symptoms to anxiety...and our anxious brains have trouble discerning one from another.
Remember the old cartoons...where a character would see a love interest and their heart would literally pound outside of their chest?
These sensations are as known and common as that! When we have heightened emotions...our bodies simply react! Even to postive stimuli.
Sometimes simply the 'let down' of stressors can actually make us symptomatic!
Once we come down from a manic state of worry...we can experience feelings like you described.
Try to focus on the postive...and that is the irrefutable test results!
Starting your meds and continuing your self-help/therapy skills will find you meeting your goals in time!
Keep up hope,
S.C.
