Is changing doc/dentist the answer?

I wrote a while ago about the problem I was having with my dental filling. I've had the filling (gold) removed and replaced with other fillings...but everytime I get a new filling, I have a reaction to it. My mouth (tongue) is extremely sensitive and gets irritated and I get a weird taste in my mouth. I've never experienced this before in my life. I was fine with any type of filling. However, the last time I had a filling was about 10 years ago. Maybe my mouth is a lot more sensitive now than back then? I don't know. I've known the dentist office for about 10 years. I have never heard of any complaints from other patients.

I've been to my dentist about 20 times already in these few months. It's crazy!  I have a feeling maybe it's a curse. (for a lack of a better word lol) And to reverse the curse, maybe I have to find a new dentist? You know when no matter how many times you try, things don't work out? You have to end it somewhere.  I have a feeling, I have to 'end' this too.

What do you all think? Have you had a similar experience? 

Yes those are porcelain or composites. Composites are only good for small fillings. They are plastic and will wear fast. Porcelain can't withstand the biting force in the back molar. They chip easily. Metal can withstand biting, and grinding...and it was recommended to me as I have a habit of grinding.
