just Monday anxiety

back to work day. i have new shoes but i am prepared if they hurt. i am bringing my old shoes along with me to work, as well as some bandaids in case i get blisters.

i have been soul searching for months for evidence of a Higher Power and go in and out of believing in one. I know my Higher Power exists in other people and in nature. That's as good as I can do.

It's scary because I feel very alone.

I am supposed to be looking for a new job. But I keep procrastinating it. Mostly I don't want to have to get dressed up in the whole kit - sport coat, new pants, new shoes, etc. But I have realized I am underpaid in my job and it's so flipping boring. A lot of what I do is stuff envelopes. I have years of experience doing much more intelligent work!
