cough will not go away. ugh

ok I have posted before about this but I don't feel bad since I got over my bronchitis I thought about a month ago But I still have This lingering intermitent cough. I also have bad allergies but I don't think that's what the cough is from so I just coughed up I'm sorry to be gross thick yellow drainage and I'm wondering if I need more antibiotics. My sister who is a nurse said its personal choice but I'm wondering if it's normal to still be coughing stuff up from bronchitis that started over 2 months ago. Ugh I'm not weezing anymore though

Hazel do you take anything to drain your sinuses? The reason i ask is normally until we get all those area's
drained we still have lingering symptoms, i know you said bronchial but when we are asleep the sinuses
drain into the bronchi, Peace

Yep. It cam take up to three months to fully recover!!! And the allergies probably aren't helping either

Ask your doctor's opinion...

...but if it were me, and I didn't have a fever, lethargy or trouble breathing...I would not take another course of antibiotics, and let it clear on its own.

The more often antibiotics are taken, the greater the chance of a resistance building up, so sparingly is always best as far as their use.

I hope it clears soon!

you are right s.c. i almost let anxiety to me yesterday and ran to ergent care. i'm fine now and letting it run its course. :)
