Stressed beyond belief. Went to help setup the room for my cousins 21st birthday party, and everything is just hitting me. The depersonalisation, the anxiety over going out.

Doesn't help when my cousin and his mum are bickering non-stop. It just makes me think why I should even bother going in the first place.

Breathe. When they bicker, excuse yourself for some time to yourself. If you're feeling froggy, inform those two to stfu.

Remember your breathing techniques and use them as needed. As John said, remove yourself from the situation if you need too when they start bickering. Hope your day goes well. You got this!! Hugs

Thanks for the support. I was having a big panic attack when I wrote the original post (mainly as an exercise to essentially see my thoughts physically so I didn't blow them out of proportion in my head).

Feeling much calmer now thanks to breathing properly and taking one of my pills (I hate having to take them, but sometimes they're my last line of defense).

There is NOTHING wrong with taking your medication when you need too, please don't beat yourself up for taking them. If they help that is what they are suppose too do silly! So take them without feeling the guilt.

I guess I lost sight of that fact. It's just hard to not feel bad when I have to do it.

Well done on using your breathing to help calm you from a panic attack I am pleased it worked and made you feel better. I agree with the others don't feel bad about taking your medication as it's just intended to help you.
