is it ok to start back on Zoloft

I've been off Zoloft for 3 weeks. I now realize I need the medicine and want to start taking it again. I can't see my psychiatrist until June. I was initially on 50mg. Would it be ok to start back slowly? Maybe on 25mg?

We can't advise you on reinstating a new Rx, as only your doctor should help you in that decision...

...but I would suggest making a phone consult...as you can likely get the advice you need with a conversation prior to you going in for your scheduled appointment.

...and for now, practice coping skills such as the ones found in our Resources!

I agree with SC about calling your doctor and see if you can get an answer over the phone.

Keep us posted and use any coping skills you have until you can speak with your doctor.
