I appreciate your information, but it was a very thoughtful decision on my part to begin Zoloft.
I have tried essential oils, I take melatonin, prenatals, Vitamin D, Magnesium, Fish Oil and Flax Seed Oil daily. I did research 5-HTP, but it is still very new and carried side effects of its own. I also use DoTerra Essential Oils. Lavendar on my pillow, Serenity and Balance on my feet and Citrus Bliss over my heart, behind my ears and on my wrists during the day.
As you can see, the natural route has not been the route for me. I believe that Zoloft combined with my twice a week therapy will be a wonderful help for me. I also take Xanax as needed and Ambien for sleep. Chronic insomnia is actually hereditary and runs heavily in my mother's side of the fam.
Anyway, thanks for offering some alternatives, but I'm sticking with th Zoloft for now! 😊
