Hi PFC,
Since you have been recently cleared of any health issues through your check-ups, then you are safe to assume this is muscular in nature, or perhaps anxiety showing up as one of its many symptoms.
You can try breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, meditation and other self-help coping skills for relief.
If it is something like a muscle strain, you will just need rest and time...maybe some light stretching of the area.
If you tend to have exagerrated health concerns when you are feeling symptomatic, then I suggest working on the health anxiety links in our Resources, put together just for this common issue.
