I hope you are all having a good weekend.

I am making lots of progress with my anxiety & OCD but struggling with the chronic pain in my back.

I'm so happy to hear of your progress of anxiety and OCD, I know you are working hard with your therapy and hopefully you'll only get better as time goes on. Sorry to hear about your chronic back pain, I know how you feel, I have 4 bulged disc in my back and DDD and my back is my worse enemy, no matter what I do it hurts. Pain pills barely take the edge off, and I know your doctor just recently told you he wouldn't change your pain pills, that really sucks.

Well it's going to be 82 degrees here today and I'm bored with nothing to do, my son who I usually hang out with on the weekend is going to stay home today and clean, so no thrift stores this weekend, it bites, lol. Just going to moderate the forums and play some games on pogo. :)

I hope everyone else is having a wonderful Sunday, check in if you want and let us know how you are doing. :)

Is there any way I can prevent certain threads (topics) from appearing on my browser? Like can I block certain threads so I don't have to see them every ****** day? I am SO sick of seeing these certain posts from this one user...as it appears every single day at the top of this forum when I visit this place! I think other users who are in need of serious support should be given equal attention.

Melodee, I'm sorry that you are being affected this way by a certain member, the only thing I can think of is to block the user. You shouldn't see any thread they create, I think, I'm not positive on this but worth a try. To block them, just go to one of their post and click on the little thumbs down icon on the upper right of the post.

I am sorry about complaining AngelLisa. Didn't mean to sound like a jerk.
I just think everyone on this forum should be given an equal chance to seek and receive support.
I think some users want more attention than others...which is fine but my goodness, do they not know how to take a break.

I will try blocking them. Thanks.

Hi everyone. It's been a busy day. Church, and some planting after. Now, relaxing on the couch, and hoping for a nap.

We have our 11 year old niece with us this weekend, so I'm not sure about the nap. lol

Hope everyone is having a good day, I just went grocery shopping for a hour and I hurt all over, especially my back and legs. :(

I spent 200 bucks, both my trunk and back seat were full, now they are sitting on the counter, hoping someone else puts them away. lol. That isn't likely to happen so guess I bite the bullet and go do it. darn it anyway. :(

Doing ok this week. Having some depersonalization issues as wells major digestive issues but trudging along. I had to call out of work today-- couldn't even open my eyes this morning from fatigue and ended up sleeping until almost noon. Went to grab a bite to eat with my partner and heart randomly started pounding mid-meal which sent me into a tailspin of anxiety.
Feels good just to type it out.

Having a bit of anxiety this morning, I'm sure of the cause but it is uncomfortable, perhaps I should watch a mindfulness video.

Need to take my son to meditation for the custody of his son today, I forgot all about it and he just reminded me. Please say a prayer that it goes good.

Hi All

How's everyone doing?

I am doing well with regards to my anxiety,ocd and depression but going through a tough period with the pain in my back and neck but soldiering on.

I have entered a table tennis tournament tonight which is something I would never of considered before starting my Schema Therapy. It's going to be a real test for me as I get a lot of social anxiety due to having Aspergers Syndrome and there is a lot of people entered the tournament and spectators will be there as well so wish me luck lol.

It's been a little bit of a rough week - but I'm holding my own!
I love that you "check-in" Hibee - gives us hope and encouragement.

Tomorrow is National Donut Day, started by the Salvation Army during the great depression (what is great about depression?) Anyway, go buy a donut for a friend, or maybe some to take to work - and be thankful that you are walking and talking and able to function...there are those who can't.

I'm heading off to CBT in 30 minutes. I've been on Lexapro for 5 weeks and feel great. Had to switch my dose of Lexapro to the morning because it was causing insomnia which is weird because it use to really help me sleep? I switched 2 nights ago and went from 5 hours of sleep to 7-8!!

Hi folks

Hope your having a good day.

I enjoyed my table tennis tournament last night and finished second bottom in my group so pleased with that as I was playing with a sore back and my anxiety was high as there was a lot of people watching but I stuck it out and did not do a runner lol so a big achievement and i'm pleased that I am starting to make big steps in overcoming my social anxiety but still have a bit to go but i'm up for it.

Going to be in the 90's all weekend, and it is setting off my anxiety. I find it hard to breathe when it is so hot and that sets off the anxiety, going to ask my son to put in my air conditioner in my bedroom and set in front of it all weekend. :)

Having a pretty good weekend so far. Had a massive headache when I woke up this morning, but generally been getting on well.

I had a really sudden moment today where I didn't feel anxious or detached. It was startling, but I just embraced it.

it's cold. am tired. done a lot today. get to skype the lady tonight. she busy yesterday. one day at a time. i suppose i need to pop my thought bubble. it gets me in trouble. bugger. i would be lost without music. i see with music. and feel with it. dependent on mood is dependent on what i play, and to alter this funk, i will change it up. so tonight it is live iron maiden. 'rock in rio'. my fiance', said the other night, will you miss anything coming to the uk. i said my pharmacists, the girls and stuff. i crack them up. my therapist-but i will get over it, and my shrink. he is a pom, so we may have a beer one day, he said maybe one day. the SH lecture is on the 17th of august. got to save up to get back to the uk to see deb. be good, be glad, but never sad. in number we are strong. keep fightinf.
