A bit of background as to why this feels relevant for me.
In the months leading up to my first panic attack, I was drinking a drink called Lucozade as a hangover cure semi-regularly. I occasionally would experience fleeting moments of weirdness that later I would experience during panic attacks, but thought nothing of. June 28th 2013, I got quite drunk to celebrate my birthday. The day after, I had 2 big bottles during the course of the day and later that night, had my first panic attack (triggered by a migraine).
Is it the reason why I have these anxiety issues? Maybe. Or it could be the straw that broke the camels back on an already pre-disposed brain and personality.
It has given me some comfort though. And the part about
exercise explains why I felt so much better last summer that I stopped my medication. The subsequent lack of exercise as it got colder also helps explain why I relapsed last October.
