I'm just wondering if anyone with depersonlization has this
Well my arms feel deatached from my body and when I touch my own skin it feels different

Hi Jack,
I think this is expected and goes along with the descript
ion of 'not feeling like being inside one's body'...which is a common descript
ion of D/P D/R.

Yes I have had these same feelings many times and usually when my anxiety is really high.
Have a look at our resources thread for some useful links and know that these feelings don't last for ever.

It's often the brain's way of retreating to catch itself a break from being highly strung for an extended period of time. When it retreats, yourself and/or your surroundings seem off because your brain isn't processing the incoming information as it normally does.
Do look at the resources provided here. I've given a bare-bones explanation, but there's some great information and tips on how to cope with it.
One last thing - don't get stuck in your head overthinking why things seem off. Trying to fight it just makes it worse. It will pass on it's own after a while.
