Hi

I have been googling names of old classmates and friends. When I google people's name in google images and find my friend's pic and click it, I can see a larger pic. If I am not logged in facebook and do not jump to her facebook page where this picture is at, would she know if someone had viewed her fb profile pic? When you google images and click on it, it opens another pop up page. When you see the property of that pic it is a direct link to the facebook profile. Can the facebook owner find out if someone searched them and clicked their profile pic even though that person is not logged in her facebook account? Does facebook have features where you can find out how many times and when your facebook profile pic has been viewed by people outside facebook?

I've heard of pages that can show who has viewed your profile and photos, but I've never heard anyone proclaim them as being legitimate (other than the page itself).

But my question is, can they find out who has viewed your profile pic when the person who viewed it is not logged in facebook? That's my question.

No Melodee there is no way for them to know who clicked on their picture.

Hi

There is an app you can add to your FB which shows you which of your friends visit your page the most but you can not find out who has looked at your page if they are not friends with you.

Hibee, actually like I mentioned to Nightcrawler, the only thing I want to find out is would the owner of facebook be able to find out how often and from what area their profile and profile pic was viewed? Is there some kind of feature (like 'insight' 'page views' 'overview') that tracks the number page views on facebook? If there is, that means you CAN know.

If any of you own a facebook page that is active, please, check insight or overview.
