Some of you know I've been going to art therapy every Thursday, well during art therapy I found out about
coloring adult coloring pages. Well I guess I knew about
it before since it is all over the news lately, but I never tried it until I went to art therapy. I must say, I'm addicted to coloring, lol. It helps my anxiety so much, even helps with my pain level as it takes my mind off my anxiety and pain. I've been doing nothing but coloring all week, lol.
I highly recommend everyone to check out the adult coloring books, you can find them in your local bookstore and there are a ton on Amazon. It is well worth it, to use as coping tool. (I already got Park12 hooked on coloring, lol).
I'm going a art therapy class thru NAMI, I highly recommend this group also, not only do they offer classes such as Art therapy, but have a lot of support groups. Check them out and see if you have any local to you.
