Hearing my heart thumping

in my ear is driving me crazy it's loud and seems fast. Anyone else experience this. It freaks me out!! It's at 100.

hi Bam,

Yes I have been experiencing the heart beat sound in my ear for a few days now. I don't know why and it's more annoying than anything. It could be anxiety or mine does feel a little plugged, so that may have something to do with it.

I am so glad you were able to do your pulse rate. 100 is definitely a little higher than you want it to be, BUT please feel some peace in knowing that 100 is still considered within normal range for an adult. :)

Hi Bam,

I was also going to suggest that you may have some congestion...and the pressure it creates is causing the audible heartbeat...

Try taking a mild decongestant such as Sudafed for relief...

...and practice your coping skills to lower your HR and anxiety.:)
