Checking In!

Hi Everyone,

I want to apologize for my absence. I am feeling much better physically but emotionally I'm a wreck. I'm in a bout of deep depression, the meds the Doctor put me on are not working and I haven't been depressed like this for 5 years. He took away my abilify for health reasons and that was a miracle drug for me, he put me on lamotringe instead and I've increased the dose to 200 mg a day and it just isn't working. I have an appt on Thursday for a med review and we will see what happens. I am doing pretty much nothing but laying in bed these days, trying to hold out until my appt.

On top of being depressed I found out this morning that this is our last full week with my grandson before we go to every other weekend. I thought we had the whole month of August but I guess school is starting the 3rd week in August this year. So this has me even more upset, I just want to cry but since Mason is here I am trying not to cry, but it's hard.

I have group therapy this afternoon, don't even want to go but I know I need too so I will go. I hope you are all doing well. I will be back soon, I promise!

Well done on deciding to goto your group I think you will find that helpful and hopefully your pdoc can sort something out for you on Thursday.

I'm so sorry you're having such a hard time right now. But don't apologise for something that is not in your control. Any of us would likely be in a similar state under such trying circumstances.

The most important thing you can do is focus on getting yourself better, not worry about not being on here as much.
