Once I started to get a handle on my waking/day time anxiety...guess where it decided to move in?
Yep! At night, while I was just falling asleep...or even waking me up out of sleep with panic!
This could be a sign of progress then...as anxiety is sneaky...and if you are managing it well in the daytime, it is trying to now bother you when you are more vulnerable.
Keep up with your coping skills...focusing on them especially right before bedtime, to be as relxed as possible before sleep.
