I finally received the call informing me of my surgery date. It will be August 26th. This also happens to be my husband's birthday. As always, he is so supportive. He said "At least I get to take off work for my birthday this year." Love that man more than words can express.
Anyway, I should be receiving calls for pre-op labs, and other tests.
My doc is going to attempt to do the hysterectomy robotically, but with my asthma, she said I may not be able to tolerate being upside down that long. If I can't, she'll have to put down the table, and go abdominally.
I feel pretty good right now, but know I'll get a little anxious as the date gets closer.
As for my physical therapy; I'm half way through it. I can tell that it is helping. Of course the cortisone shot in the joint helped immediately, and still seems to be providing relief.
They worked me pretty hard today, and I had some palpitations while there, but I ignored them, and kept doing my exercise.
