That's where I am at this very moment!

I experienced a heart palpitation that hurt a bit, down low.
So I came to get checked out...

Ugh....
My insurance company must LOVE ME!

Thoughts and prayers...

I am sure everything will check out okay. Can you ask for any advice/help they can offer you in managing these palps while you are there? Maybe some Rx recommendation, self help plan...or just reassurance could help?

Ekg was perfect, blood tests were good, thyroid is a little elevated, urine test is good.

I guess it's just me over reacting....

I don't know what all they could do for me,
Since I think most of the time,
My palps are due to my MVP that I have...

Well, I was hoping maybe they might discuss the use of magnesium, or a beta blocker...or had some group therapy option...or health anxiety material for you maybe?

I havent, it's hard for me to get to the internet, I'm normally on my phone. They haven't mentioned anything any of the 14 times I've been in the hospital the last 5 months... my dr said she doesn't recommend magnesium just because I haven't been tested to see what my levels are, and too much may make my palps worse. I see her September 9th for a follow up, because now my thyroid levels are a little higher...

Test for magnesium levels? Never heard of that. When I get palps I increase my magnesium and they go away. My doctor has never said he wants to test for magnesium levels. If I were you I would get tested right away, because if that is what is causing your symptoms, well then that would be an easy fix.

Okay, I was going to ask yesterday about a follow up to recheck your TSH level...(then got side tracked somehow!) and was wondering if this was related to the palps...

Talk to your doctor about your stuggles lately, and she if she has anymore suggestions for you at your appointment.

Hi, sorry you ended up in the ER with Palps, but happy to hear all the test results were good.

I too have never heard of a test to test magnesium levels, but I googled it and there apparently is one, I would ask your doctor about this, cause I know for a fact that magnesium helps a lot of people that have palps.
