Journaling is good too!
...I just prefer a little more structure...it is a personality/preference thing...
...and the worksheets just help to guide you through the thoughts and feelings...taking you from one stage of emotion, to the other step by step, which is helpful for me, because I am a visual learner probably.
CBT (which the worksheets are based on) also appeals to my rational/analytical side...and helps me to feel like I am actually working through a problem...rather than just expressing about
it.
Journaling and talking things out has its merits and is very important as well!
I just found the worksheets to be essential for me.:)
Doing both (journaling and the worksheets) will help you to find what is most helpful for YOU! ;)
