Just checking in

It was an interesting week. The noise at work is still unbearable, but one of the problems may be leaving soon. I will miss her.

I spoke with my boss about the ear buds. He would not budge and would not even think about it. He's such a prick. I told him how much of a difference having them would make in my life and he just doesn't care. He said he would try to think of an accommodation for me, but I'm not holding my breath.

I went into therapy the afternoon after speaking with my boss. I made the mistake of not rehearsing beforehand, but I had finally had enough, but didn't get to say everything I wanted to say. Anyway, therapy was painful. I see no light at the end of the tunnel and I'm stuck. Not having my dad around isn't getting a lot easier. I just want to be with him. My surgeries and lovely inguinal hernia have turned me into half the man I should be. Just eff everything.

I'm having some angst about my California trip. Two of my friends out there just got new jobs, so will they even have time for me? Where am I going to stay? I am going to save some money though by getting a ride to and from the airport when I leave Baltimore and come back to it. Maybe the plane will crash on the way back and hopefully only kill me because I'm sure the others on board with me have something to live for.

Want, it's the noise that makes me anxious. I can't have my ear buds, but they can carry on like high school hyenas? I hear there is this tour bus that's pretty neat. I'm sure I will figure it out. I'm not the least bit afraid of airplanes for some reason. It's out of my control. I get the most upset when I have to leave. I still remember the last time I saw my ex. When I left, we were a couple, but it didn't last. Thank you for taking the time to write!

Sophie, that is an interesting idea. It just brought me great joy and meaning to try. I couldn't let that dog just wander around near a busy road. Nuh uh. I spent an hour or an hour and a half with him. Worth every second. I may call his parent tomorrow and check on him. Thank you for the California comments. It makes me feel better. I think my other friend will know more bout his job Tuesday and I'll start a three-way chat on FB so we can work out some details. He and I did talk about a NoCal trip. I HAVE to ride up that mountainside coastline. Have to. The hernia is just there. It's aggravated a good bit of the time and that worries me about the trip.
